2013 Ellman Family Vineyards Brothers Blend Proprietary Red, Napa Valley
We tend to call this wine our “tribute to Pomerol”. Named for “brothers”, Neil and Lance Ellman, this wine is our younger sibling to our Jemma Cabernet. This wine offers a larger concentration of Merlot making it a more approachable wine for everyday enjoyment.
TASTING NOTES: Bright, medium ruby color with purple overtones. The wine offers generous aromas of violet, plum, anise, cassis, and mint with restrained floral overtones. On the palate, it is light and well-balanced clean fruit. Medium body and ripe tannins with juicy plum, blackberry and dusty coffee notes in the background, all magnified on a long, subtle finish.
